History

In 2010, Little League BC and BC Minor Baseball Association partnered to promote the Challenger Baseball program in BC, under the auspices of Baseball BC. Today, there are fourteen communities in BC that have a Challenger Division, while over 30,000 children participate in more than 900 Challenger Divisions worldwide.
Provide an opportunity for children and youth with cognitive or physical disabilities to enjoy the benefits of playing baseball. Educate the community that children with cognitive or physical disabilities can play organized baseball, just like their peers. Help the youth in the community “give back” to society, by getting involved in the Challenger program as “Buddies”.

Volunteer

We are always looking for motivated, volunteer driven, youth leaders in our community to become Buddies once a week. If that fits your vision, we would love to hear from you. Please contact your local Challenger Coordinator for more information.
